about

"Ultraphonic Hi-Fi" was originally recorded in 1991, in Charlie Krich's basement. That basement in Willimantic, CT was a touchstone that begat a thriving punk scene in the area during the early/mid 90's, as was Charlie's independent record label, Vandal Children Records. This EP was Mi6's second, and was mixed/mastered later that year by Nick Phoenix, and released on VCR (#11) in 1992.

The songs were then "remastered" (for lack of any better word) by bassist Greg Conte in 2017, and three additional songs that weren't chosen for the EP were included.
